Natural Characteristics

The region is characterized by its agricultural activity, particularly livestock farming and olive production. It also includes six irrigated areas and a growing number of shallow and deep wells.

The region is home to four mountain lakes.

The area contains the essential raw materials for brick manufacturing (clay quarries).
